God gave the ten commandments to man to keep him from sin and it's destruction

The Modern Ten Commandments

CarTo clarify the ten commandments, we have revised them to make them clear to today's sinner.  The question has been asked, "Why do people go to Hell?"  The answer is simple.  All sinners go to Hell.  If you sin, you go to Hell.  The reason is, God will not be in the presents of evil.  He equates those that sin against His ten commandments as evil and in order for Him to separate Himself from evil, He created a place called Hell.

What is this place called Hell?  Is it controlled by Satan and is it a fiery pit?  No. No fire, No Prince of Darkness in control with pitch fork in hand.   Satan is but an inmate.

Where is Hell? Hell is the place where God is not present.   Now, that does not sound so bad to the sinner's ear, does it? No God around, no rules, no guilt, no wrath, no problem, "Cool, Man. Party On!  God ain't here so I am God."

Not so fast, no man or woman has ever experience being separated from God.  He is everywhere except Hell, controlling everything that we see and don't see.  So, what would it feel like if He just shut Hell's door on you and tossed the key.  The Bible says, it is like being thrown into a lake of fire, your skin bubbling and burning without end.  It is like grinding your teeth until the nerves rip each other to a bloody pulp, forever.  We are talking pain like no human can truly describe or understand.  One can only imagine that it would be as horrific as if the Sun left the planets to freeze in endless darkness, adrift in absolute nothingness.  Or as intimate a knowing everyday for nine months, that your own mother is going to abort you the day of your birth and throw your little body into a gas oven to burn.  Each of these example are physical pain so that the reader can relate to a known feeling.  But, God is not talking of pain of the flesh, but pain of the spirit. A hurt that has no equal in our physical world.  Remember, Hell is a God created, "mother of all punishments" that was originally made expressly for the traitor, Archangel Lucifer/the devil Satan and his fallen band of angels.  Hell was conceived a long, long time before man was a sparkle in God's eye.  It was not until the fall of Adam that Hell came into man's path.  I won't dwell on this any longer --- there is an out.

The sinner has an out, if he or she just asks,  Jesus saves man from the pain of God's total physical and spiritual abandonment.

Can following the Ten Commandments save you from Hell?

Yes, But where is such a person on this earth that can live without breaking a commandment, except for a small child.  If following laws or just being a good person could save there would be no need for Jesus to go to the cross.

Was Jesus a rich man?

Yes, Jesus traveled with 12 grown men, one of whom was his personal treasurer. He fed them, housed them and clothed them.  At will, he could fill fishing nets so full of expensive fish that the boat would almost sink.  He place gold coins in the mouth of fish.  He turned water in to wine fit for a wedding.

Jesus' first birthday gifts were expensive perfumes and sacks of gold.  He worked as a carpenter for many years and in the end had the resource to take care of His mother.

Do angels have wings?

  • Nowhere in the Bible does it say that angels have wings.  Cherubs are not angels
  • Is tithing required?

  • No, tithing 10 percent was a tax to fund the theocracy government of Israel. It is old testament. The Christian church receives money as love gifts only. One pays from what he or she feels, not a rote number or percentage.  Where a problem happens, is when one gives for his or her own glory and benefit or if one makes a promise to God and then reneges.
  • Can one make money by giving?

  • There is a money multiplication movement surrounding the Law of Reciprocity.  But, God is not the Lotto.  You don't buy your  way to wealth by the donations of money to the Church...This is false theology.  "Paul's writings in Galatians 6:7 does not teach that giving will result in one hundred fold returns. More to the point it teaches God will not be mocked, "you reap what you sow."  If you sow the wind you reap the whirlwind.
  • The correct way to get a blessing from God is to just ask for it, if you think God wants you to be rich ask Him for the money. Prayer is free.
